ESSENTIALS OF LIGHT – BRIGHT AND DARK

Exercises of vocabulary, participants started a recognition of their surroundings thought the vocabulary of Emotions of Light, Description of material Qualities and Effects of light. The translation of these visual knowledge had to be presented as a spatial characteristic in the space. The second exercise of vocabulary was intended to experience the difference in the light situation with a source of light and to represent it with drawings. The feeling and observation translated into a universal language of drawings.

Camera obscura and the essence of observing the opening in a space. We are surrounded by light and in every inner space the no skyline is presented reveling the qualities of natural light. The properties of Light present them self as Color, Distribution and intensity, the exercises translated this technical knowledge into felling a and experiences!

Exercises of Light developed by the ideas of Bright, Mobile, Dinner. Experiment as the basis point of creation, using a scientific method of observation and explaining in a poetic basis the technical allocation of light. The combination of practice and theory got translated by the different groups that expressed their points of view in exercises using different materials and sources, sun, candles, projectors, in diverse spaces!
